Wir freuen uns ueber eine kleine organisierte Fahrt mit einem Safari-Veranstalter durch den Hlane Nationalpark… und sind froh, dass wir Elefanten, Nilpferde und Nashoerner dann doch aus gesicherter Position heraus sehen koennen. Denn wir sind nicht unbedingt scharf auf ein Treffen mit diesen Tierchen in der freien Natur! [G.]It was a nice break from cycling for just half a day to visit Hlane Game Reserve. Looking at these majestic beasts which are said to be related to the Dinosaurs is amazing. The Rhino is an endangered species and we saw that our game warders were armed to the teeth to protect this natural heritage from poachers.
We hope to come back some day and spend more time with these creatures.
